Mr. Murphy serves as the Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operating Officer of Sullivan Wickley. Before joining the firm, John spent seven years as the Chief Financial Officer of Branch Properties, LLC, a private real estate investment firm focused on grocery-anchored shopping centers in the Southeast United States. At Branch, he obtained financing and assisted with due diligence for retail properties totaling 2.25 million square feet at a cost of approximately $380 million. He also oversaw all financial reporting to both high-net worth European investors and U.S. institutional equity partners. Before joining Branch, John was a Project Manager with the St. Joe Company in Orlando, Florida. In that role, he managed all aspects of new project development for a 1,300 unit master planned community, including finance and accounting, construction operations, sales and marketing, warranty services, and property management. John began his career at KPMG, working in both the assurance and consulting groups of the firm’s Atlanta office. John is a Certified Public Accountant and earned a Bachelor of Science and Master of Accounting from the University of Florida and a Master of Business Administration from Cornell University.
